The first trailer for Meadowland has been released. The film marks the directional debut of cinematographer Reed Morano.
This psychological thriller starring Olivia Wilde and Luke Wilson had its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April where it was picked up by Cinedigm. The film revolves around a Sarah (Wilde) and Phil (Wilson), a couple who are forced to cope with the disappearance of their son. According to the official synopsis, “Sarah and Phil come unhinged, recklessly ignoring the repercussions. Phil starts to lose sight of his morals; Sarah takes off on a potentially disastrous journey, falling deeper into her own fever dream.”
The film’s cast also includes Juno Temple (Horns), Elisabeth Moss (TV’s Mad Men), Giovanni Ribisi (Ted 2) and Ty Simpkins (Jurassic World).
Reed Morano is known for her cinematography work for Skeleton Twins and Kill Your Darlings. The film’s script was written by newcomer Chris Rossi.
The film is produced by Olivia Wilde along with Aaron L. Gilbert, Margot Hand, and Matt Tauber.
The film will have a limited release on October 16, 2015.
