The first official trailer for writer-director Tom Edmunds’ action comedy Dead in a Week: Or Your Money Back has been released, starring Aneurin Barnard (Dunkirk) and two-time Academy Award nominee Tom Wilkinson (Denial).
William (Barnard) is an unsuccessful writer who feels he has nothing to live for. He makes 10 suicide attempts, each unsuccessful. Desperate to shuffle off this mortal coil, William hires aging professional assassin Leslie (Wilkinson) to kill him. William signs a contract, and Leslie promises him “you’ll be dead in a week, or your money back.”
But fast forward a bit, and William’s outlook on life takes an upward turn as his book gets picked up by a publisher, and he falls in love with someone. William now wants to live, but when he tries to call off the hit, Leslie protests to William, “you signed a contract!” After all, Leslie has a reputation to uphold as a professional assassin.
Producers are Nick Clark Windo and Daniel-Konrad Cooper and is backed by levelFilm studio. Dead in a Week: Or Your Money Back bows in theaters on November 30.
