The first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Spectre has dropped and features James Bond on the trail of the eponymous criminal syndicate. Directly following the events of 2012’s Skyfall, we see Bond recovering a ring with Spectre’s sigil on it, and from that he begins his chase of the shadowy organization that has been the antagonist in so many of the Bond movies. Daniel Craig returns as James Bond along with several other returning cast mates from Skyfall, plus some newcomers to the franchise.
Craig will star alongside Ralph Fiennes (returning as M), Christoph Waltz, a newcomer set to play Bond’s latest nemesis, as well as Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux, David Bautista, Naomi Harris, Ben Winshaw, and Stephanie Sigman. Director Sam Mendes is also returning from Skyfall. From the trailer, we see that there will be a lot of continuity from the events of the 2012 movie, as seen from the bombed-out headquarters of MI6. We also get a look at Bond’s new car, the Aston Martin DB10.
Spectre is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 6. You can also check out the newest teaser poster for the movie here.
