Check out the ‘Game Night’ Trailer Starring Rachel McAdams and Jason Bateman

Rachel McAdams (The Time Traveler’s Wife) and Jason Bateman (This Is Where I Leave You) headline the new teaser trailer for Game Night, a comedic movie which follows their characters (who are in a relationship) as they deal with a wild evening. Though the two believed that they were about to hang out with friends and play games, the night suddenly deals them a terrifying hand when one of their companions goes missing under troubling circumstances. Though they were promised by the game, the players believed it would be more of a regular simulation than what would soon unfold.

Because of this, their supposedly calm night then shifts into a series of frightening events. However, because of the humor in the movie, the suspense and tension will be balanced with a lighter touch, which will be good for any audiences who love McAdams and Bateman but just cannot stand horror films.

Jonathan Goldstein (Horrible Bosses) and John Francis Daley (Freaks and Geeks) will direct the cast from the script written by Mark Perez (Back Nine). They will be working with actors such as Jesse Plemons (Bridge of Spies), Camille Chen (American Horror Story), Kyle Chandler (The Wolf of Wall Street), Danny Huston (Children of Men), Natasha Hall (Castle), Billy Magnussen (The Big Short), Lamorne Morris (Nightmare Time), Michael C. Hall (Cold in July), Kylie Bunbury (Twisted), and Shannon Horgan (Imagine Me & You). New Line will also produce the film in conjunction with Bateman.

So far, the trailer seems promising. Bateman and McAdams seem to play well off of each other and their talents at drama and comedic timing will certainly give the movie an advantage.

Game Night will hit theaters on March 2, 2018.
