Check Out the First Trailer for ‘Stronger’ Starring Jake Gyllenhaal

The first trailer for Stronger has debuted. The film tells the harrowing true story of Jeff Bauman, one of the victims of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, who with courage and resolve aided the police in tracking down the culprits of the tragedy while also overcoming tremendous physical and emotional obstacles in the aftermath of the incident.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Bauman in the film directed by David Gordon Green (Our Brand is Crisis) – the film is an adaptation of Bauman’s book of the same name co-penned by Bret Witter; John Pollono wrote the screenplay. Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) co-stars alongside Clancy Brown and Miranda Richardson.

Stronger hits theaters on September 22nd.
