Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen have signed on to star in Flarsky, a comedy written by Dan Sterling. The film will be directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50).
The story follows an unemployed journalist (Seth Rogen) who pursues the affection of his old babysitter (Charlize Theron). But what makes this especially difficult is the fact that she is now one of the most desirable, and subsequently the most unattainable, women in the world. Writer Dan Sterling is most well-known for contributing to tv shows such as King of the Hill, The Daily Show, South Park, and The Office.
Rogen could be seen this part year in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, and lended his voice talents to Sausage Party and Kung Fu Panda 3. Rogen has previously worked with Levine on 50/50 and The Night Before, and was in Sterling’s film The Interview.
Theron just committed earlier this week to act/produce Need to Know for Universal Pictures. She can be seen later this year in The Fate of the Furious and Atomic Blonde.
