Carl Jackson just scooped up a sizable facility for his own production company. He bought out a studio lot in LA known as Castiac Studios. While a director himself, Carl Jackson put together Carl Jackson Entertainment, a production company that has and continues to help many films get off the ground since it was established in 2002. Some of Jackson’s own movies were even made under the banner, including Love Solutions, Strong Black Woman, and The Jesus Freak.
“I am truly humbled that we have the opportunity not only to expand space in Los Angeles for our own productions, but also to offer it to others, continuing the legacy of the studio’s storied past. Yahusha must love me,” Jackson said, according to Deadline. Deadline also made note of the utilities that the lot has to offer, as well as stated that some of the finer financials will not be released. The facility has six separate sound stages, 2 screens, space for wardrobe, 80 acres worth of land in a backlot, and many more features.
The first film to be produced within the lot will be Arthur And Bree. It’ll share the space soon after with GIF War. For more updates, stay with us here.
