‘Captain America 4’ Gets Retitled To ‘Captain America: Brave New World’

In July 2022, Marvel revealed that Captain America 4 would be subtitled Captain America: New World Order and be released on May 3, 2024. Now, the title for the upcoming film has been changed to Captain America: Brave New World. The news was announced by Marvel Studios for its title change on social media. Alongside the title being changed, they also released first-look photo of Anthony Mackie as Captain America and Harrison Ford on set.


Previously donning the Captain America mantlein the Marvel Cinematic Universe was Chris Evans, but his character departed in Avengers Endgame. Now the role of Captain America has been bestowed upon Mackie. Mackie joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Falcon and later on took the role of Captain America in the Disney Plus show, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The film, Captain America: Brave New World is directed by Julius Onah and co-written by Malcolm Spellman, the creator of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The upcoming film cast includes Liv Tyler and Tim Blake Nelson as they reprise their roles Betty Ross and Samuel Sterns, respectively, and Harrison Ford as he debuts as Thaddeus. With the supporting cast of Shira Haas and Danny Ramirez.
