Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston and Lily Gladstone (Killers Of The Flower Moon) are set to lead Lone Wolf, an action-packed conspiracy thriller directed by Mark Pellington, known for Arlington Road (1999) and The Mothman Prophecies (2002). The film is produced by Yale Productions in association with Killer Films and Double Hope, and is generating buzz ahead of its anticipated debut at top film festivals in fall 2025.
In Lone Wolf, Gladstone plays a military veteran who is recruited by Cranston’s character, a contractor, for a covert mission to eliminate a high-level political figure. When she finds she may be betrayed, she must draw on her skills to evade agents and protect her son. This intense thriller promises to deliver action and suspense with a focus on character depth, as Pellington seeks to create a film that mirrors the urgency and tension of his iconic genre work.
The collaboration brings together powerhouse talents, including Gladstone, recently celebrated for her roles in the 2024 drama series Under the Bridge and Erica Tremblay’s 2023 film Fancy Dance, and Cranston, who recently starred in the action comedy film Argylle and the upcoming film Everything’s Going to Be Great. With Pellington’s return to the paranoid thriller genre and a story packed with emotional stakes, Lone Wolf aims to be both a gripping thriller and a profound exploration of resilience and survival.
