Another music-related film is making its way onto Disney+ revolving around the 2023-2024 world tour of the legendary singer Bruce Springsteen. According to Deadline, the film will be available on the Disney streaming site and Hulu in October of this year.
Titled Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, the film will focus on Springsteen’s tour and give a behind-the-scenes look at the creation and creative process for Springsteen’s live shows. It will also share footage of band rehearsals, backstage moments, and testimonials from Springsteen himself.
Springsteen’s world tour is still going on, with the first American leg of the tour finished back in April. The whole ensemble is in Europe playing into the summer and will then return to North America from August through late November.
This isn’t the first documentary focusing on Springsteen, as he has worked on others related to himself in the past. His most recent one was the Apple Original Film Bruce Springsteen’s Letter to You which came out in 2020. This film focused on the creative process of his 20th studio album of the same name, giving an insight into the creative process of Springsteen creating his albums and songs and showing a more personal side to himself.
These documentaries have shown that although he is 74, Springsteen continues to rock on with new music while keeping up with live performances and giving his audiences experiences they will never forget.
