The upcoming Fast and Furious 10 is already set to have a star studded cast featuring pros such as Vin Diesel, Jason Momoa, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, and more. But as of Saturday night, there’s a new name that can be added to the marquee, and that’s Brie Larson.
That’s right, the Captain Marvel is joining the world of Fast and Furious. Iconic star of the franchise Vin Diesel made the announcement on his Instagram welcoming Academy Award winning Larson to the family along with sharing a sweet photo of the two cast mates.
This is Larson’s first ever appearance in a Fast and Furious movie, but thanks to her Marvel background, she is no stranger to the action movie world of stunts and pyrotechnics.
The movie will be directed by Justin Lin and it will be Lin’s sixth time directing a Fast and Furious addition. There is an eleventh film that is scheduled to be made, which will also be directed by Lin. This eleventh inclusion is rumored to be the last film for this ongoing franchise that has been in and out of theaters since its original production released in 2001 with the late Paul Walker.
Fast and Furious 10 is set to premiere May 19, 2023.
