Insidious 6 has been confirmed, with Brandon Perea heading the cast. The sixth installment of the Insidious horror franchise is currently still in production in Australia. The film is being produced by Blumhouse and Sony’s Screen Gems alongside Stage 6 Films. It will be directed by franchise newcomer Jacob Chase, who co-wrote the script with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick.
The cast includes a mix of newcomers and familiar faces, Brandon Perea is set as this film’s lead, while longtime franchise veteran Lin Shaye returns to reprise her role as paranormal investigator Elise Rainier. The film was originally set for release in late 2025 but waa delayed and has now been slated for theatrical release on August 21, 2026.
