According to Deadline, Bradley Cooper will star in Gavin O’Connor’s (The Accountant) WWII drama, Atlantic Wall, produced by Imperative Entertainment. Zach Dean has written the screenplay.
The drama will center on an American paratrooper who was abandoned at the D-Day invasion. He was assigned to deliver information that was critical to the outcome of the battle, and of the war. Even though he is alone, he will stop at nothing to deliver the intelligence and fulfill a promise to protect the fellow son of a murdered soldier.
Cooper is not new to war films. In 2014, he starred in the Oscar nominated movie American Sniper. In addition, he is directing the film A Star Is Born, which stars Lady Gaga, as well as himself. Recently, Cooper appeared in War Dogs and as a voice in 10 Cloverfield Lane.
Film production will start for Atlantic Wall in 2018. This will give him leeway for his 2017 projects including producing Black Flags: The Rise of ISIS with HBO, and to voice Rocket in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
