After having to refer to the upcoming James Bond film as Bond 25 for a long time, viewers can now use its official title. The James Bond twitter account announced Tuesday that the title of the film will be No Time To Die. The reveal was made using black and white colors along with Daniel Craig, who currently played the famed spy, walking across black and white shapes that gradually come together to spell out the title. No Time To Die may be alluding to the fact that 007 always escapes danger and death. Previous films in the franchise have used the word “die” in the title, such as Live and Let Die (1973), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), and Die Another Day (2002).
It is expected that this film will be Craig’s last time playing Bond. The film centers on Bond having retired from MI6, but then urgently called to return back as an agent to help his friend Felix Leiter search for a kidnapped scientist.
No Time To Die hits theaters on April 8, 2020 in the US and April 3 in the UK.
