Blumhouse hopes to continue their box office blow out, with their most recent films Split (M. Night Shyamalan) and Get Out (Jordan Peele) making almost half billion dollars globally, by signing Golden Globe nominee David Oyelowo to their latest thriller, Jacob Estes‘ Only You.
There is not much currently known about the film, other than the fact that it will be a thriller using time travel, according to Deadline.
Oyelowo is executive producing, as well as starring, alongside Cooper Samuelson, Janette Volturno, and Jay Martin. Jason Blum is producing for Blumhouse.
Oyelowo is known for his role as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Ava DuVernay‘s Selma and his performance on HBO’s Nightingale. He has a Cloverfield film from Paramount and an untitled film for Amazon also in the works.
