Blood, Gore And A Santa Suit: Terrifier 3’s Shocking Finale Hints At What’s Next

Warning! This Article contains spoilers for Terrifier 3 in theaters now on October 11th.

The highly anticipated horror film Terrifier 3 has hit theaters, continuing the grisly saga of Art the Clown. The third installment delivers the franchise’s trademark gore and shocks, with a shocking conclusion that leaves fans speculating about what’s to come in the series.

The film follows Sienna, the final girl from Terrifier 2, still haunted by her previous encounter with Art. She now lives with her aunt, uncle and cousin Gabby, as she grapples with the terrifying knowledge that Art has returned. Throughout the film, Sienna must confront not only Art, but also Vicky, one of his former victims who has been possessed by a demonic entity known as the Pale Girl.

In one of the film’s most graphic sequences, Art and Vicky capture Sienna and bind her to a chair. They have already murdered her uncle, and in a gruesome display, Sienna’s aunt is killed using a plastic tube and live rats. Just as Sienna appears doomed, her cousin Gabby retrieves a mystical sword that had previously been used to defeat Art. Armed with this weapon, Sienna decapitates Vicky, marking a significant victory over the slasher duo.

Despite this, Art’s survival remains in question. Though Sienna impales Art and slashes his throat, Vicky’s body is pulled back into the underworld, dragging Gabby with her. This leaves Sienna in tears, vowing to find and rescue her cousin. Meanwhile, Art manages to escape, despite his injuries, and the film concludes with a darkly humorous scene of him boarding a bus in a worn-out Santa suit.

The ending hints at the direction of Terrifier 4, with Sienna likely hunting Art while searching for her cousin. The film raises new questions about Art’s supernatural origins and his connection to the Pale Girl. As the series moves forward, fans can expect further exploration of Art’s mysterious past and potentially more answers in the next installment.

Terrifier 3 is now playing in theaters.
