Bill Skarsgård And FKA twigs Star In ‘The Crow’ Reimagining

In 1994, Dimension Films and Miramax films made and distributed The Crow, a violent action and thriller film that was based on a comic book of the same name by James O’Barr.

Starring Brandon Lee, son of world renowned martial artist and actor Bruce Lee, the film focused on a man who has been resurrected from the dead and is seeking revenge against the gang that murdered him and his fiance.

Now in 2024, Lionsgate and director Rupert Sanders (Ghost in the Shell) are remaking the iconic film.

Starring Bill Skarsgård (John Wick Chapter 4 and It) as Eric Draven and British singer-songwriter FKA twigs as Shelley Webster, the film will follow the couple and their love and how when they are both killed, eventually leading Draven to seek revenge.

A three minute trailer for the film explores all of this, as well as showcases some of the blood spraying action that will be taking part in this film.

In an official press release, Skarsgård and FKA twigs both shared their thoughts on the process of filming, with Skarsgård excited to bring this story to a modern audience and hopes the film resonates with them.

FKA twigs says in her release that the love that Skarsgård and she have is indicative of the authenticity and ease that she dreamt of bringing to her role in the film and is excited for audiences to witness it when the film comes out.

Currently the film has no release date, so it will be a while until audiences can see this new interpretation come back to life.
