Behold Trekkies! ‘Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home’ Returns to Theaters for its 35th Anniversary!

The Star Trek saga has had a complicated history. If you can believe it, the fourth entry in the movie saga is flying back to theaters in honor of its 35th Anniversary. Newly remastered, this will be a  joy for hardcore Trekkies, especially with this movie being the most lighthearted and goofy of the franchise.

The crew of the Enterprise is put in a precarious situation with having to traveling back in time to the 1980s and figure out how to save the world from the future by returning to the past. While the crew of the Enterprise hasn’t a clue of what life consisted of in the past, much more the ’80s, these characters are in for a surprise when they return to a time that has long since been forgotten.

Fathom Events is bringing this exciting and bonkers entry in the Star Trek saga back to the big screen and fans will have the option to see this either from the comfort of their home or rejoicing its presence of the silver screen. So, let’s go back to the eighties and enjoy all the fun, weird and campiness of it all.

Tickets are on sale now and the special showing of the film will be on August 19 and 22 respectively. The crew of the Enterprise have landed and who knows if the 20th century will be as crazy as they initially think.
