BAFTA Nominees Announced with ‘The Shape of Water’ Taking the Lead

The EE British Academy Film Awards have been announced for the 2018 ceremony with Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, MissouriThe Shape of Water, and Darkest Hour leading the pack of nominations.

Some other standouts in the round-up include multiple nominations for Paddington 2, which has taken critics by storm in the past week and may prove to the world just how good a sequel can still be. Other under-appreciated British films this year that will be given their spotlight are Lady Macbeth, Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool and The Death of Stalin.

Check out the full list of nominees below and the ceremony will take place on February 18 at Royal Albert Hall.
