While Hugh Jackman is probably not going to miraculously show up in Avengers: Endgame, the film will still feature new heroes who have yet to make an appearance in the ensemble franchise. Pepper Potts is ‘Rescue’ and Captain Marvel doesn’t miss the action. However, on Twitter, MCU Cosmic founder Jeremy Conrad posted that Marvel has something in the making for the Black Knight and they sorted out how he’ll be introduced.
There's been some hinting and talk about Black Knight recently. Apparently Marvel does have a plan for him in the MCU, and they already know how he'll be introduced. pic.twitter.com/rOHHO9hWgU

The image from the post is a city from the Quantum Realm, seen in the distance during a scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp. The Black Knight, with his capacity for multiverse travel, may be tied to the Quantum Realm, which will be important for the future of MCU. In the trailer for Endgame, Ant-Man comes from the Quantum Realm.
There is no guarantee the Black Knight will play a part in Endgame. He may just be introduced in the credits or be in a separate film. Equally troubling is that an actor named Hiroyuki Sanada is credited for Endgame but no one knows what role he will play. So far, this actor has not appeared in other Marvel movies. He was a villain in The Wolverine but he can’t be the same X-Men character in a Marvel movie. On the film’s IMDb page, Sanada’s role is blank. Perhaps details will be revealed leading up to the movie, but these mysteries will reel in potential viewers.
