‘Avengers: Endgame’ Debuts On Disney+ With Post-Snap Deleted Scene

Avengers: Endgame made its streaming debut Nov. 12 with the launch of the new Disney+ platform and, with that, the release of five additional deleted scenes. These deleted scenes additionally include commentary from Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo and are different than the extra scenes featured on the Blu-Ray disc release.

One of these scenes depicts a tender moments between Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and his daughter Morgan Stark as an adult, with Morgan being played by Katherine Langford of Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why fame. The Russo brothers previously revealed the scene’s existence in May on MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, which sees a dream sequence of Stark that reunites him with an all-grown-up Morgan, post Endgame snap.

Joe Russo said the scene was cut due to test audiences finding it too confusing, and to lessen the risk of the film having too many endings. Keep in mind that as the Russo Brother’s commentary is played over the scene, none of Downey or Langford’s dialogue can be heard.

Endgame is now available to stream on Disney+ along with the five deleted scenes. However, the streaming platform fell victim to technical issues yesterday following its release, with Disney issuing a statement saying it was “working quickly” to resolve these issues.
