We have some exciting news for Marvel fans! There have been fresh production updates on two highly anticipated films.

First, Avengers: Doomsday, based on the comic series, is gearing up for production next year. According to Daniel Ritchman, filming will run from March to August. Adding to the excitement, Spider-Man 4 (following No Way Home) is set to begin production in May and will likely finish up in October.

Tom Holland, our friendly neighborhood Peter Parker, is rumored to have a role in Avengers: Doomsday. This means he’s in for a busy few years! There has also been talk that Robert Downey Jr. will return, but as a Tony Stark variant who went down a villainous path. This will be a very interesting take on the character of Stark and what he stands for.

There are also whispers about Mr. Fantastic (possibly played by Pedro Pascal) and Doctor Doom having a critical, if limited, dynamic in this storyline.

Last week at NYCC, directors Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed that Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars won’t be filming back-to-back. Avengers: Doomsday is slated for release on May 1, 2026, followed by Secret Wars on May 7, 2027.

And as for Spider-Man 4? No release date yet!

Fans are waiting to see what else the MCU has in store for its films. We can only expect great things!
