They’re assembling for their greatest threat yet, now that Avengers: Doomsday is just over a year away from release. Although some time still remains until its debut, fans should now be able to expect their first look at the film to come in front of Avatar: Fire And Ash.
Avengers: Doomsday crosses the path of the major players of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with many of the returning talents from the Fox era X-Men films. While some fans speculate it’ll lead to the Avengers and X-Men taking on one another, an even greater threat is looming in the form of Doctor Doom, who threatens to destroy everything they ever knew.
Collider was able to report, thanks to some of their own sources, that the first look at Doomsday is currently expected to be in front of Avatar: Fire And Ash once it hits theaters.
While Collider did say that this could possibly change between now and the release of Fire And Ash, it would bring the film full circle if that is the case. The first teaser for Fire And Ash appeared in front of the latest film from the MCU, Fantastic Four: First Steps, much like how the trailer for Avatar: The Way Of Water debuted just before Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness.
Avatar: Fire And Ash hits theaters December 19th.
