

Via Deadline, Ariana Greenblatt (Love and Monsters, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t) is set to star in the romantic comedy Egg Baby. The film centers around a quarterback and artist who are obligated to take care of an egg for their health class but develop an unexpected romance. The film will be directed by Natalia Anderson (After So Many Days, The Craft: Legacy) and written by Sawyer Perry. The producers include XYZ Films and Allison Friedman (The Mortuary Collection, The Fix) with Buzzfeed Studios. The film will be released on Amazon Prime.
Greenblatt’s first role was as the youngest child, Daphne Diaz, in Stuck in the Middle. She also played Sasha in the 2023 comedy fantasy film Barbie, which received several Academy Award nominations and won an Academy Award for best original song What Was I Made For? The song was written by pop artists Billie Eilish (Birds of a Feather, Blue) and Finneas O’Connell (Turning Red, Glee). She has also made appearances in films such as Avengers: Infinity War, where she played young Gamora, Star Wars: Ahsoka as young Ahsoka and Bad Moms as Lori. Other films she starred in are In The Heights, playing Nina Rosario, 65 as Koa, Awake as Matilda, and, more.
Apart from her appearances playing younger versions of characters, she also has a history of working with animations such as The Boss Baby and Scoob!. The actress is represented by CAA, Jackoway Austen, and Untitled Entertainment.
