Look out Christmas fans, here comes the zombie apocalypse. Anna and the Apocalypse is a comedy/ horror film with a twist – it’s a musical as well. Premiering at Fantastic Fest last year, the UK Indie film was a hit with fans and received largely positive reviews.
Set in the small town of Little Haven during Christmas time, the zombie apocalypse closes in on Anna and her friends. Soon, they are forced to survive by any means possible to get to their loved ones all while singing and dancing. However, as with any zombie apocalypse, civilization breaks down, so the group of friends learn fast that they can only rely on each other.
Anna and the Apocalypse is directed by John McPhail and stars Ella Hunt as Anna. Joining the cast with her is Malcolm Cumming, Ben Wiggins, Sarah Swire, Christopher Leveaux, Marli Siu, Mark Benton, and Paul Kaye.
Anna and the Apocalypse hits select theaters on November 30 with a nationwide release on December 7. Check out the teaser trailer below.
