An Anonymous Post Cites Sean Baker Having A Tantrum On ‘Anora’ Set

With Anora sweeping the Oscars and winning the award for Best Picture, director Sean Baker has been reported by an anonymous post as having a “hissy fit”, and was reportedly not friendly to his crew on the set of Anora during production. This was originally taken into account during the union flip where Baker was rumored trying to avoid by cutting crew costs, as one unnamed critic claims, before being integrated into Local 52.

Several crew members, including grips and a prop master, defended Baker’s production and denied the tantrum claims. Prop master, Kendra Eaves defended the wages on set by saying,

“I got paid fairly, and was never lied to about the budget.”

Another prop master named Rachel Parrella similarly said,

“Baker paid us the right wages from the start.”

One crew member claimed how Baker never threw a hissy fit by further commenting,

“He expained how happy he was for us and excited and he was almost crying, not sobbing, but certainly beyond misty,”

As no one except the crew knows what truly happened on Sean Baker’s set of Anora, people do know what transpired following the unionization of the production of Anora, where they forced the crew days before wrapping in NYC to start moving to Nevada to film the Vegas scenes. Following Baker’s win for Best Picture, Direction, Editing, and Original Screenplay; he is bound to face numerous scrutinizing claims following his success with Anora.
