The American Society of Cinematographers, which hosts the annual ASC Awards, has just revealed its nominees for the 2025 awards. The 39th annual ASC Awards will, as always, celebrate achievements in cinematography in film and television over the past year.
This year, seven cinematographers are nominated for the feature film category. The nominees are Jarin Blaschke for Nosferatu, Alice Brooks for Wicked, Lol Crawley for The Brutalist, Stéphane Fontaine for Conclave, Greig Fraser for Dune: Part Two, Edward Lachman for Maria, and Phedon Papamichael for A Complete Unknown.
ASC also recognizes cinematography for other mediums, including TV series. Some of the highlights from this category include Only Murders in the Building, The Crown, The Penguin, House of the Dragon, and Shōgun. The awards will be given on February 23 in Beverly Hills, and the presentation will be streamed live on ASC’s website.
