Amazon Prime Video is rolling out a variety of classic films, original series, and new releases throughout October 2024. Among these additions are Amazon Originals such as House of Spoils (2024), classic films like the original James Bond film Dr. No (1962), and several Halloween-themed films. Through this mix of films and shows, Amazon Prime’s newest lineup offers options for a diverse viewing audience.
House of Spoils, premiering on October 3, is a psychological thriller from Blumhouse, the production company behind Speak No Evil (2024), starring Ariana DeBose (West Side Story). This film follows a chef who is opening a restaurant on a remote estate and is challenged by supernatural forces that seek to prevent their success.
Amazon Prime is also bringing 17 James Bond films in this latest lineup, spanning from the 1960s to 2021. The collection includes Dr. No (1962), starring Sean Connery (The Untouchables), and No Time to Die (2021), starring Daniel Craig (Knives Out). Newer fans of the James Bond film series will have a chance to see where it all began, while seasoned viewers will be able to revisit some of their favorite films.
Prime Video is adding a large catalog of classic movies throughout October. Titles include 12 Angry Men, Aquaman, The Breakfast Club, Die Another Day, and Mad Max (1980). Toward the end of the month, Halloween-themed films like Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween and Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End will be added to the seasonal lineup, arriving just in time for October 31.
