No Talking. No Ads. More Movie. This is what Alamo Drafthouse theaters most known for their dining and drinking services has promised in a new 35 second long promo.
“Don’t waste your life waiting for a movie to start,” the clip mentions as it details the average 25 to 35 minute ad block that plays before movies at leading competitor theatre chains. “Spend your time doing what you love best, watching movies. ”
This is just the latest standard being upheld by the premium theater chain. Alamo Drafthouse prides itself on its theater etiquette, including its n0-talking rule. Instead of tedious ads, the Alamo will instead play its slate of approved film previews as well as fun pre-show clips.
“Because life’s to short to die waiting,” the promo states.
