Zoë Kravitz has acted in huge blockbuster films like X-Men: First Class, Mad Max: Fury Road, and the Divergent series. Her roles have been small, but her incredible acting talent hasn’t gone unnoticed. Kravitz received positive reviews for her performance in the indie dramedy Dope last year and has been making the transition into much larger roles within the independent film world.
Kravitz is starring in three indie films this year and topping it off with another installment of Divergent – Ascendant (2017). Audiences will get to see Kravitz in a wide range of acting roles beginning with Adam Green’s Aladdin, which is a modern and comedic take on the Arabian Nights classic tale. She will also star alongside Dakota Fanning (The Twilight Saga) in the punk rock 80’s drama Viena and the Fantomes.
Vincent N Roxxy will have Kravitz starring in the lead role opposite Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild), and a strong cast of young supporting actors including Emory Cohen (Brookyn) and Zoey Deutch (Vampie Academy). Kravitz plays a rebellious punk rocker that falls in love with a small town loner (Hirsch) and they soon discover that violence follows them everywhere. It was recently announced that Vincent N Roxxy would be featured at the 2016 Tribeca film festival in New York City on April 13-24.
Zoë Kravitz has only begun to show off her true acting ability, but she clearly possesses all the endearing qualities of a great young actress. There doesn’t seem to be a film too big or small for her to leave a lasting impression on the audience. It will be exciting to see Kravitz take on more dynamic roles in the near future. Kravitz will next be seen in The Divergent Series: Allegiant, opening next Friday; Adam Green’s Aladdin wlll be released on April 15th.
