One of A24’s myriad of upcoming pictures just got its very first trailer. The first look at How To Make A Killing has just debuted online.
Coming from John Patton Ford, How To Make A Killing follows a skilled worker who has recently moved to the city, and has not forgotten his mothers disownment from her wealthy family. Feeling robbed of his rightful inheritance, he begins to kill his way through the family one by one until the money he’s owed is finally his.
Glen Powell, who recently appeared in Edgar Wright’s The Running Man, leads an all-star cast for the film. Margaret Qualley will be playing opposite Powell, joined by Jessica Henwick, Bill Camp, Topher Grace, Zach Woods, and Ed Harris.
On top of directing, Ford will also be adapting the screenplay, based on an original work from Roy Horniman, Robert Hamer, and John Dighton. Although he’s got a limited résumé, Ford has already worked on a well received film just a few years back with Emily The Criminal. It has a wide plethora of positive reviews, with a Certified Fresh 93% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 79% audience score.
How To Make A Killing hits theaters February 27th. Check out the trailer below.
