A New Trailer For ‘Deadpool 3’ Drops

Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) reacts to Colossus’ (voiced by Stefan Kapicic) threats.

A new trailer for Deadpool 3 has just dropped, and it has shocked Marvel fans. The trailer for Deadpool 3 was released during Super Bowl Sunday, and confirms that Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine are back together on screen again.

The release of the trailer also confirmed the title of the movie will be Deadpool & Wolverine.

This is the first appearance from Jackman as Wolverine since he stepped down from the role after 2017’s Logan. Reynold’s Deadpool and Jackman’s Wolverine are back together on screen for the first time since the pair were seen together in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

This trailer does not come as a total surprise to fans, as Kevin Feige, Marvel Studios President, hinted at a possible release when he arrived at the Saturn Awards wearing a black baseball cap that featured a logo that was half Deadpool, half Wolverine. Feige was present at the Saturn Awards to receive an honor for Guardian of the Galaxy, Vol. 3.

The trailer features the trademark dark, irreverent humor that Deadpool is known for, but this time the humor is pushing the boundaries further than the franchise has before with Deadpool 3 having an R-rating.

In the first 30 seconds of the trailer Reynold’s Deadpool can be seen saying, “Pegging isn’t new for me, friendo, but it is for Disney.” Reynolds delivers the line, and then gives a knowing glance at the camera in the self-aware humor Deadpool excels at.

The film is directed by Shawn Levy, and stars Emma Corin, Matthew Macfayden, Rob Delaney, karan Soni, Leslie uggams, Morena Baccarin, and Stefan Kapicic aongside Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds.
