Though there are currently dozens of confirmed players in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, ranging from Black Panther’s Okoye to Spider-man: Homecoming’s Tom Holland to the Guardians of the Galaxy themselves, fans have been preoccupied with the things they don’t know about the cast of the film. Peter Dinklage especially has been the subject of many theories and mystery for Marvel fans and his role has been mired in mystery.
ComicBook reports that the Russo brothers, who directed the second and third Captain America films and now helm Avengers: Infinity Wars, gave a tease to the fans when they stated people would know who Dinklage played in the film, as they would be able to identify him on sight. The brothers also said, “It may take you a beat or two, but you’ll certainly recognize [Dinklage].” The speculation has run wild ever since.
However, thanks to a trailer for the highly-anticipated movie, fans think they have finally discovered what the Games Of Thrones star will be doing. Good Morning America provided potential evidence via a brand new trailer of Avengers: Infinity Wars, and fans noticed the voice of Thanos’ general Corvus Glaive has a “recognizable” voice.
Up until now, a huge bulk of the speculation revolved around Dinklage potentially performing as the Infinity Stones’ guardian, Pip the Troll. Nothing on either side has been confirmed and fans will likely have to wait until next week when the movie premieres on April 27th.
