One of the biggest classics of film is about to get a reimagining. A Fistful Of Dollars is now confirmed to be getting a film remake.
The original Fistful Of Dollars follows a wandering cowboy who comes across a town where two groups are trying to gain control over the other, resulting in the cowboy trying to play both sides to his own advantage.
Directed by Sergio Leone, Fistful Of Dollars remains one of headliner’s Clint Eastwood’s highest marks in his career.
Fistful Of Dollars marks the first in a trilogy since dubbed the “Dollars” trilogy. All 3 are helmed by Leone and star Eastwood, with Fistful Of Dollars being the first, For A Few Dollars More next, and ending with The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly.
Deadline, who reported on the news of the remake, pointed out that there are little to no details known about the remake itself. No director has yet been attached, nor any headliners or writers.
However, it is known that Gianni Nunnari and Simon Horsman’s company, Euro Gang Entertainment, will be putting out the film.
The pair will also be working with Enzo Sisti. In regards to Sisti, the duo said that they were lucky to be able to partner with him.
