Breaking into someone’s home to steal something is one thing but what happens if you discover that someone is being held captive in the place that you intended to rob? What do you do? That’s the basis for the new horror/thriller titled Bad Samaritan. Director Dean Devlin (Geostorm) is turning up the heat in a cat-and-mouse game when a young valet breaks into a customer’s home and discovers more than he hoped to find.
The script penned by Brandon Boyce (TV’s Let the Right One In) brings a lot of thrills and chills, especially when the psychotic homeowner goes after the young valet. The cast includes David Tennant (Doctor Who), Robert Sheehan (Geostorm), Kerry Condon (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), and Carlito Olivero (Step Up: High Water).
Think of it as Don’t Breathe mixed with The Collector, expect without all the graphic violence: “one bad night, one bad decision can haunt you forever.”
Bad Samaritan will be released by Electric Entertainment and arrives in theaters on March 30th!
