After finding an enormous amount of success with A Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, scribes Micah Fiterzman-Blue and Noah Harpster are making their directorial debut with an adaptation of Dash Shaw’s comic book Bottomless Belly Button, according to Deadline. It has also been reported that Bow and Arrow Entertainment have acquired the film rights for the director duo after previously releasing Native Son and The Little Hours for Sundance.
