Prior to Rogue One, Edwards helmed the first Godzilla film and first in Legendary Picture’s MonsterVerse, generating over $525 million at the worldwide box office. New Regency, which currently maintains a deal with Disney, has been compiling an impressive project with a great director and cast including David O. Russell, who is also credited as a writer on the project, and his frequent collaborator Christian Bale. The film is currently untitled.
