Batman has officially turned eighty years old. His first appearance was the Detective Comics #27 which was published on March 30th 1939, the cover art which revealed the caped-crusader was revealed in May of 1939. Tim Burton‘s Batman is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year (released on June 23rd 1989) and features Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne. Jack Nicholson plays the infamous Joker, Michael Gough is Alfred Pennyworth and of course we can’t forget Billie Dee Williams as Two-Face. Whether you enjoyed the later movies as much as first or you’re just a Batman fan, these four movies all have a place in comic book film history.
