Who doesn’t love pizza? Apparently monsters don’t as seen in the new trailer of the campy horror flick Slice. A24 is releasing a new horror movie where the pizza delivery boy in a small town named Kingfisher is murdered and the need to find the culprit is dire. Making his feature film debut, Chance the Rapper plays Dax and teams up with co-star Zazie Beetz who plays Astrid. Together, the pair begin a hunt to track down the perpetrator no matter if it’s a drug dealer, a werewolf, or some other creature from Hell.

In the trailer, the story opens with a sign for Kingfisher, “A Great Place to be Alive”. The audience soon finds out that this statement couldn’t be farther from the truth. A pizza boy is murdered on the job and no one knows who did it or why. As the surviving pizza joint employees find out that they are all in danger as well, they soon begin to piece together that the killer is not human and that their place of employment is actually a gateway to hell.

The film was written and directed by Austin Vesley and includes a talented cast of actors including Stranger Things’ Joe Keery,  Fear the Walking Dead’s Rae Gray, Will Brill from Unsane, The First Purge’s Y’Lan Noel, and Paul Scheer from Veep.

Although the exact date of release has yet to be announced, we can look forward to Slice hitting theaters sometime in 2018. Check out the trailer below.
