Ben Feldman (NBC’s Superstore) and Olivia Thirlby (The Stanford Prison Experiment) headline Between Us, a romantic indie dramedy from director Rafael Palacio Illingworth (Macho). Check out the trailer below:
Henry (Feldman) and Dianne (Thirlby) have been together for six years and impulsively decide to tie the knot. Enter fear of commitment, societal pressures, doubt, attraction to other potential lovers, the perceived end of carefree days, and the struggles to stay in a forever relationship. As Feldman’s character says in the trailer “I’m always afraid of realizing too late that I’ve made the wrong choices.”
The film played at Tribeca to generally positive reviews. Indiewire wrote “While Feldman, and particularly Thirbly do the best with the uneven, sometimes melodramatic material they are given, Between Us is an undeniably realistic film about love and commitment, as well as the push and pull dynamics of those two concepts against each other.”
Also in the cast are Adam Goldberg (Rebirth), Alison Sudol (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), and Analeigh Tipton (Lucy).
Between Us will be in limited theatrical release and on VOD on January 6, 2017.
