When the first theatrical trailer for A Walk Among the Tombstones released in late May, it featured a grim and dreary tone underscored by a haunting cover of Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” by Seattle-based singer/songwriter Nouella. The music certainly fit the trailer, but it left us without any notion of the soundtrack to the film itself.
Well, now we know.
A Walk Among the Tombstones, which stars Liam Neeson and was directed by Scott Frank (The Lookout), has released a short featurette with composer Carlos Rafael Rivera, an accomplished guitarist and former Composer-in-Residence for the Miami Symphony Orchestra making the leap to scoring a feature film for the first time.
