Born on July 10, 1993, in Houston, Texas, Jeffery relocated to Los Angeles as a youth to pursue acting. She made her feature film debut at age 12 portraying the younger version of Mo’Nique’s protagonist in the 2006 comedy Phat Girlz. Throughout the late 2000s and 2010s, she built an extensive television résumé across both comedic and dramatic roles, appearing in guest spots on iCarly, Good Luck Charlie, Shake It Up, Suburgatory, and American Vandal. She also held a recurring role as Keysha Black across multiple episodes of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and portrayed Janila in the police drama series Southland.

Jeffery attained widespread recognition among family audiences after joining the Disney Channel original movie Zombies in 2018 as Bree, the loyal, high-spirited best friend to lead character Addison (Meg Donnelly). Jeffery reprised the role in sequels Zombies 2 (2020) and Zombies 3 (2022), later lending her voice to the character in the animated spinoff Zombies: The Re-Animated Series.
