Evil Dead Burn has produced low box office numbers with $30.5 million worldwide against a $20 million budget. The film was released on July 10 and received $13.7 million in its second week. The film would only need to reach $50 million worldwide to achieve break-even. 

Evil Dead, released in 2013, received $25.8 million during its domestic debut. Evil Dead Rise received $147.1 million at the worldwide box office, which is the most the franchise has received thus far. Evil Dead II received $807,260 during its domestic debut and $5.9 million at the worldwide box office, which is statistically the lowest-grossing movie in the franchise. Army of Darkness held $4.4 million in its domestic debut but received $11.5 million at the worldwide box office. The first Evil Dead film received $29.4 million at the worldwide box office. 

The Evil Dead franchise has one more chance to create more success for future sequels or stiffen greenlights for other film ideas with the film Evil Dead Wrath that will release April 7, 2028. Evil Dead Burn centers around Alice Price grieving her husband while reconnecting with her in-laws at an abandoned home when things take a dark turn when Candarían Demons are within their vicinity. 

Evil Dead Burn stars Souheila Yacoub (The Salt of Tears, No Man’s Land) as Alice, Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent, Chief of War) as Thya, Hunter Doohan (Wednesday, Daredevil: Born Again) as Joseph, Tandi Wright (Pearl, Our of the Blue) as Susan, George Pullar (Moon Rock for Monday, It Only Takes a Night) as Will, Erroll Shand (Journey to the Forbidden Valley, Little Secret) as Edgar and Maude Davey (Summer Heights High, Ride like a Girl) as Polly.  Sébastien Vaniček (Infested, Mayday) directs. Rob Tapert (Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) and Sam Raimi (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Spider-Man) produce.
