

The 84th Golden Globes Award Ceremony is getting a head start on its nominations as an official timeline has been released by the Golden Globes organization. The event will be hosted by Nikki Glaser (Dancing with the Stars, Lovers and Liars) for the third time on Sunday, January 10, 2027. The ceremony will stream on Paramount+ and air on CBS. An official update and category guidelines were released on the Golden Globes website.
The official timeline for the Golden Globes is as follows:
Monday, June 1, 2026: Submissions for next year’s Golden Globes motion pictures, television, and podcast entries open up.
Friday, October 30, 2026: Deadline for submissions for motion pictures, television, and podcasts is due.
Monday, November 16, 2026: Podcast and television nominations will be releasing ballots to all voters,
Sunday, November 22, 2026: the final date for any TV and podcasts press conferences, as well as the final date for podcasts and TV programs uploaded to the Golden Globes Indie Viewing Platform.
Monday, November 23, 2026: 5pm PST official deadline for receipts of podcast and television nominations the ballots to KPMG
Tuesday, November 24, 2026: Cinematic, ox office achievements, and motion picture nomination the ballots will be sent to all voters.
Wednesday, December 2, 2026: Final date for Cinematic, box office achievements and motion pictures’ press conferences as last day for their titles to be uploaded to the Golden Globes Indee Viewing Platform.
Friday, December 4, 2026: Deadline for cinematic, box office achievements and motion pictures’ receipts for nominations on ballot to KPMG.
Monday, December 7, 2026: 5am PST Official nominations for the 84th Annual Golden Globes announcement.
Friday, December 18, 2026: Final ballots for KPMG voters
Saturday, January 2, 2027: 5pm PST Deadline for final ballots receipt for KPMG.
