

Strutting into first place Devil Wears Prada 2 brought home 77 million for its domestic premiere triple what the first film made in its opening weekend. With both high fashion and high praise The Devil Wears Prada 2 has cemented this place as another successful legacy sequel.
Michael dropped down to second place for its sophomore dancing to the tune with 54 million.
Super Mario Galaxy Movie earned 12.1 million and its 5th week still going to strong as family film of choice landing in third. Fourth place went to Project Hall Mary which after seven weeks brought home 8.55 million for its seventh inning.
Newcomer horror indie Hokum scored 6.4 million for the premiere beating fellow newcomer the second animated outing from Angel Studios an Animal Farm adaptation which dug up 3.4 million and sixth place
Lee Cronin’s The Mummy took seventh in its third week with 2.23 scared up for it’s coffers. Eighth place went to new comer Deep Water for its premiere floated by 2.1 million. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie – Tears of the Azure Sea took ninth and 1 million in lighter sales then expected for the long running series. The Drama fell to tenth with 908 thousand in it’s fifth week.
