Netflix has another streaming hit on their hands. The follow up to Peaky Blinders, dubbed Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, has dropped on Netflix and has already managed to make waves among viewers.
The Immortal Man picks up the story of Tommy Shelby as he separates himself from the life of the mafia. But when his son gets stuck in a situation way over his head, Shelby must return to the world he left behind and revisit the demons he thought he’d left in his past.
With Oscar-winner Cillian Murphy in the leading role as Tommy Shelby, Peaky Blinders has been a hit for Netflix for quite some time now. Originally airing on BBC over in the United Kingdom, Netflix was able to secure the series for distribution in the US, exclusively on the streaming site. It became a hit and kept up its status until it concluded with its sixth and final season in 2022.
As ScreenRant noted, The Immortal Man has found similar success on Netflix. It managed to hit the top 10 slot for Netflix, getting as far as the second most popular title. On top of that, the film has been a big critical hit, as well, with a Certified Fresh 91% Critic Score on Rotten Tomatoes. It also has a 6.7/10 on IMDb, as of this writing.
