

According to Screenrant, Zootopia 2 will be released on Disney+ on Wednesday, March 11. The film is the highest-grossing animated Motion Picture Association as their box office revenue was $1.85 billion internationally. Additional positive reviews were received as Disney+ established a Zootopia Collection, an Academy Award Nomination, a BAFTA, a CinemaScore, a 96% Verified Hot Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes and being the fifth film to excel $1 billion nationwide. A video announcement was made by Disney Animation on YouTube that shows clips of the second film while sharing the news. The animators even include a clever play on words spelling Disney as Dissssney to make way for a new character. It can be watched below:

The family-comedy film centers around Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde encounter Gary De’Snake who challenges the animal city, as he’s the first snake in a while to live in Zootopia. Tension arises as Hopps and Wilde set foot on the mission and find themselves in a group conflict-resolution session.
