

The Screen Awards, an inaugural honor created by the media company Valnet, has announced its 2025 winners, according to Screen Rant. Created in late 2025 and compiled by the critics and editors of the four entertainment news websites owned by the company, ScreenRant, Collider, CBR, and MovieWeb, The Screen Awards celebrate the year’s best film, television, and anime, as well as the filmmakers, performers, and series that set the standard for the year.
Now the list of winners has been released, with Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another taking the top prize of Best Picture, as well as Best Supporting Actress for Teyana Taylor and Best Supporting Actor for Sean Penn. Best Director went to Ryan Coogler and Best Lead Actor to Michael B. Jordan for their summer sleeper hit, Sinners. Lastly, in film, Best Lead Actress went to Jessie Buckley for her performance in Hamnet.
In the television categories, the medical drama series The Pitt won for Best TV Series, Best New TV Series Debut, and Best Lead Actor for series star Noah Wyle while Rhea Seehorn won for Best Lead Actress for her performance in Vince Gilligan’s new sci-fi drama series, Pluribus, Tramell Tillman won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Severance, and Carrie Coon won Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Laurie Duffy in the third season of The White Lotus.
Finally, in anime, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc won Best Anime Film, and The Summer Hikaru Died won Best Anime Series.
