After suffering an injury on the set of the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Tom Holland gave an update on his physical health on his social media. In an Instagram post made on Saturday to promote the Brother’s Trust Gala that he attended, Holland gave a brief update on the injury in the post’s caption. He says he’s “feeling better and on the mend” from the injury. The full caption states:
“What a night! Another huge success. The Brothers Trust means more to me than I could possibly say and I have to say a huge thank you to my Mum and her wonderful friends for putting on another incredible night. Raising money for fantastic causes and having fun doing it! I’m sorry I had to leave early but I’m feeling better and on the mend. A huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier.”
This update comes after the announcement of the concussion Holland suffered on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on September 22nd. Filming is expected to resume on September 29th, as the delay reportedly will not affect the film’s current release date of July 31, 2026.
