June 20th will mark 50 years since Steven Spielberg’s classic breakout feature, Jaws, which many consider to have birthed the modern blockbuster, was released in theaters. To celebrate, Universal has made the film available to stream on Peacock alongside its three sequels: Jaws 2, Jaws 3, and Jaws: The Revenge. All four films are currently available to stream on Peacock.
Universal is also celebrating Jaws’s anniversary in other ways. From August 29th to September 4th, the film will be re-released theatrically. To accompany this re-release, many theater chains nationwide will sell limited-edition popcorn buckets, other merchandise, and serve themed food selections.
The Academy Museum will also hold Jaws: The Exhibition, displaying props and other behind-the-scenes items from the making of the film. It will be held at the Academy Museum from September 14th, 2025, to July 26th, 2026.
Various merchandise items, such as shirts, hoodies, and beach towels, will also be available from sellers such as Walmart, The NBC Store, and Amazon. Nautica will sell limited edition premium button-up shirts as part of the Jaws X Nautica collaboration.
If you want to celebrate Jaws‘s anniversary from the comfort of your couch, you can do so by streaming all four movies on Peacock. Each film is also available to rent or buy on digital platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV.
